Tilograph collects nothing. Everything it does, it does on your device.
With your permission, Tilograph reads your Photos library to lay your pictures and videos out on its canvas, and reads any folders you hand it through the Files picker. It reads them to show them, to find lookalikes, and to tell faces, subjects, colours and places apart. All of that happens on the device, with Apple's on-device frameworks.
Nothing. The app has no account, no server and no analytics. It makes no network requests of its own. Pictures held in iCloud are fetched by iOS, through your own Apple account, only when you open them or allow the canvas to fill from iCloud in Settings.
On the device, it keeps what it has worked out — colours, subjects, face prints, your tags, turns and look — so it does not have to work it out again. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Places are named from a list of towns bundled inside the app, drawn from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0). No coordinate is ever sent anywhere to be named.
The app writes a short log of what it is doing to its own folder on the device. It is never sent anywhere. If you choose to share it with us to help with a problem, you do that yourself, by hand.
The app is rated 4+ and holds nothing but what is already on your device.
If this policy ever changes, the new version is published here with its date. This version is dated 4 November 2026.
